A WHOLE IN EVERYONE.
A few months ago, we launched a very much-needed initiative that we hope will aid in changing the world via different angles. Most conferences, events, and festivals tend to focus on one or two specific audiences, such as health professionals or consumers. Personally, children and teens (and who surrounds them: parents, family, teachers, and friends), farmers and agriculture, entrepreneurs (chefs, restaurateurs, business owners), health professionals and medical students, and the general public are my focus. Therefore, I wanted to do something that could bring the message of “whole-ism” to every type of audience, in one single event.
With the goal of reaching these groups at a global level as well as a local one, and with the help of the WFPB.ORG team, we decided to launch Wholexpo, the International Earth, Health, and Food Festival. Geared toward the Latin American public and for the first time, in Spanish, the WFPB message of complete sustainability toward humans and the planet was presented in South America. We were honored to host Dr. T. Colin Campbell in Bogota, Colombia (also his first time in Latino land!) and other experts from our movement. Wholexpo’s goal is to create this kind of awareness in different parts of the world so we will have Wholexpo in every continent we can in the years to come.
Is with this kind of inspiration that we start a new year: Bringing wisdom, knowledge, awareness, and consciousness wrapped in deliciously naked and healing food, seasoned with sustainability, kindness, and enlightenment. Sounds like a perfect recipe, doesn’t it? That’s the WFPB.ORG recipe for change. Here we go!
