Yield: 2 servings
Ingredients (organic, non-GMO)
Mousse
1 ripe avocado
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
2 Medjool dates, pitted (or 1–2 tbsp maple syrup if preferred)
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
Pinch of ground cinnamon
2–3 tbsp water or plant milk (unsweetened)
Toppings
Fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
Mint leaf
1 tsp cacao nibs (optional)
Method
Blend avocado, cacao, dates, vanilla, and cinnamon until creamy.
Add water/plant milk a little at a time until silky and pudding-like.
Spoon into glass jars or bowls.
Chill 10–15 minutes to set.
Top with berries, mint, and optional cacao nibs before serving.
Chef Notes
Swap dates for a splash of coconut water if you prefer lower sweetness.
Add a pinch of sea salt substitute to deepen chocolate flavor.
Blend in 1 tbsp hemp seeds for extra creaminess.
Chill overnight for a thicker, truffle-like texture.
Serve with sliced banana for a more dessert-like experience.
