Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients (organic, non-GMO)

Mousse

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted (or 1–2 tbsp maple syrup if preferred)

  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

  • 2–3 tbsp water or plant milk (unsweetened)

Toppings

  • Fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

  • Mint leaf

  • 1 tsp cacao nibs (optional)

Method

  1. Blend avocado, cacao, dates, vanilla, and cinnamon until creamy.

  2. Add water/plant milk a little at a time until silky and pudding-like.

  3. Spoon into glass jars or bowls.

  4. Chill 10–15 minutes to set.

  5. Top with berries, mint, and optional cacao nibs before serving.

Chef Notes

  • Swap dates for a splash of coconut water if you prefer lower sweetness.

  • Add a pinch of sea salt substitute to deepen chocolate flavor.

  • Blend in 1 tbsp hemp seeds for extra creaminess.

  • Chill overnight for a thicker, truffle-like texture.

  • Serve with sliced banana for a more dessert-like experience.
