What This Retreat Is About

Our WFPB & Vegan Health Retreat is not a wellness getaway—it is a complete recalibration of the human system.
Set in the serene Umbrian–Tuscan countryside, this immersive experience addresses every layer of your being: the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic bodies.

It is a journey into true human health, guided by the principles of Reversive Medicine, Culinary Medicine, and the biological laws of regeneration you’ll find echoed throughout our WFPB Practitioner course.

This retreat is designed to reset your internal terrain, restore biological clarity, and bring you back into coherence with how the body was always meant to function.

Reclaim Your Health, Reclaim Yourself

This experience is for anyone ready to remember what vitality actually feels like.
Whether your intention is to:

  • restore energy

  • rebalance hormones

  • improve blood markers

  • release excess weight

  • reduce inflammation

  • understand the root causes of dysfunction

  • or reconnect with your inner clarity

This retreat offers the environment, knowledge, and practices that support true transformation. Here, health is not a temporary outcome — it is a reconnection to the original intelligence of your biology. A return to your natural state.

Guided by Experts in Reversive Health & Biological Nutrition

Led by two certified health professionals, published authors, and educators in WFPB nutrition, Reversive Medicine, and the four-body system, you will receive sovereign, evidence-based guidance grounded in:

  • whole-food, plant-based nutrition

  • metabolic repair & cellular regeneration

  • conscious, functional movement

  • detoxification and cleansing protocols

  • stress-reset and nervous system balancing

  • breath and energy coherence practices

  • morning and evening rhythm alignment

  • emotional detox & mental clarity tools

Each day is curated to help your body do exactly what it is designed to do:
repair, rebalance, reverse, regenerate, and thrive.

This is not about treating symptoms — it is about removing interference, restoring flow, and supporting the body’s own self-healing intelligence.

A Complete, Wholistic Experience

Throughout the retreat, you will experience:

  • Nourishing WFPB & Vegan meals crafted according to biological design

  • Daily functional movement to support lymphatic flow and metabolic repair

  • Gentle detox practices that help release stagnation and inflammation

  • Breathwork & nervous system reset sessions to restore inner quiet

  • Workshops on Reversive Medicine, the four bodies, and true biological healing

  • Nature immersion in a landscape known for its energetic coherence

  • Community connection with others who are also choosing sovereignty, vitality, and remembrance

Together, these experiences create a shift that is deep, cellular, and lasting.

What You Will Leave With

By the end of this retreat, you will not leave with “tips” or “tricks”—you will leave with a new operating system.

You will understand:

  • how your body heals

  • what interferes with healing

  • how to nourish each of your four bodies

  • how to create coherence between biology and consciousness

  • how to maintain vitality at home

  • how to anchor a lifestyle that reverses dysfunction instead of managing it

You will walk away with clarity, tools, and embodied wisdom, ready to step into a more vibrant, aligned, sovereign version of yourself.

This is health as it was meant to be.
A living connection between food, biology, movement, energy, and inner truth.

A return home — to yourself.

The Health Retreat Manifesto

This is not a wellness retreat.
This is a return to biological truth.

A return to the intelligence of your body,
the clarity of whole, unaltered food,
the coherence that comes when the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic bodies realign.

Modern culture has convinced us that illness is normal, decline is inevitable, and health must be outsourced.
But your biology tells a different story.

Your body is self-repairing,
self-regulating,
and designed to reverse dysfunction when interference is removed and nourishment is restored.

This retreat is where that remembering begins.

Here, we don’t chase trends or manage symptoms.
We work with the laws of nature and the original blueprint of the human organism.
We nourish cells, support detoxification, restore nervous system balance, and realign internal rhythms.
We teach you how to heal the four bodies—the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic—because true health cannot exist without wholeness.

Our approach is grounded in Reversive Medicine:
the understanding that the body is not a machine but an intelligent field of biology, chemistry, electricity, and consciousness working in harmony.

Through whole-food, plant-based nourishment, functional movement, nature immersion, breath, detox practices, emotional clearing, and the cultivation of inner quiet, you begin to hear your own biology again.

You remember that health is not something to chase—
it is something to uncover,
to activate,
to come home to.

By the time you leave, you will not only feel different.
You will be different.
Clearer.
Lighter.
More coherent.
More yourself.

This is health as it was meant to be.
A reclamation of sovereignty.
A restoration of the human blueprint.
A return to vitality that begins within you and expands into every corner of your life.

Program Highlights:
Reclaiming Vitality From the Inside Out

Meetup in Rome

Our retreat begins in Rome, a city where timeless beauty meets effortless connection. With its international airport and central location, it serves as the ideal starting point for guests arriving from across the globe. On the morning of departure, several convenient pick-up points will be available throughout the city. Our dedicated host and driver will meet each guest at the chosen location, providing a warm welcome and assistance with luggage. From there, we’ll set off together toward the peaceful hills of Umbria, allowing the rhythm of the road and the unfolding countryside to gently ease us into the restorative days ahead.

Leaving Rome behind, our group will hop on our private bus to travel north toward Lake Trasimeno, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and open skies. Every detail of the journey has been thoughtfully arranged for comfort and ease. Our transportation is handled by certified professional drivers with full NCC licenses, which not only guarantees their professionalism and reliability, but also grants them authorization to enter historic city centers and traffic-restricted zones. Whether entering the heart of a hilltop village or returning to the quiet of our private villa, transportation remains seamless, comfortable, and refined—a journey designed for peace of mind and relaxation from start to finish.

Off to a Transformational Journey!

Each day of the retreat blends nutrition, movement, detox, and inner reset practices with moments of rest and reflection in the Umbrian and Tuscan countryside.

Guided by Margarita and Mik, you’ll take part in hands-on sessions that show you how to nourish your body, strengthen your system, and calm your mind. You’ll discover how to build balanced, oil-free WFPB meals designed for healing and regeneration, practice daily movement for vitality and longevity, explore gentle detox rituals, and learn simple mind-clearing techniques for focus and resilience.

Together we’ll cover the foundations of wholistic health: nutrient density, natural detoxification, breathing and nervous system support, restorative routines, and evidence-based lifestyle practices that help reverse and prevent chronic conditions. By the end of the retreat, you’ll have a clear, practical roadmap for living your healthiest life at home — a complete education in WFPB living, functional movement, and whole-person wellness.

Health Excursions

You’ll enjoy exclusive, health-oriented excursions, personally curated by your hosts to immerse you in extraordinary places and unique wellness experiences. Each journey is carefully selected to reflect the deep connection between Italian culture, wholistic health traditions, and the land itself—offering opportunities to explore historic towns, soak in natural hot springs, and engage in settings that rejuvenate body, mind, and spirit.

Cortona & Eremo delle Celle

Our first excursion takes us to Cortona, the hilltop town celebrated worldwide as the setting for Under the Tuscan Sun. Despite its fame, Cortona has preserved its authenticity, with cobblestone lanes, sweeping views, and a palpable sense of Italian heritage — a true embodiment of la dolce vita.

Beyond the charming city center, we’ll visit Eremo delle Celle, an ancient hermitage founded by Saint Francis of Assisi. Nestled in a wooded valley just outside town, this sacred retreat is one of the most important places for reflection and meditation in all of Tuscany and Umbria. Its peaceful atmosphere and historic stone structures invite stillness and inner clarity, offering you a rare moment to reconnect inwardly while immersed in timeless natural beauty.

Rapolano Terme Hot Springs

Our second excursion takes us to Rapolano Terme, one of Tuscany’s most exclusive and historic thermal spa towns. Known since Roman times for its mineral-rich waters, Rapolano offers a serene escape where natural healing meets refined Italian hospitality.

We’ll spend the day at a premium wellness facility featuring elegant thermal pools, landscaped terraces, and dedicated relaxation areas designed for deep restoration.

The warm, sulfur-rich waters support circulation, soothe muscles and joints, and help the body release stored tension — a perfect complement to the retreat’s focus on detox and regeneration. Between soaks, you can enjoy the tranquil ambiance, breathtaking countryside views, and curated wellness amenities that make this hot spring experience both rejuvenating and luxurious.

Pienza & the Val d’Orcia

Together we’ll visit Pienza, the Renaissance jewel overlooking the rolling hills of the Val d’Orcia — widely considered one of the most picturesque regions of Tuscany. With its harmonious architecture, sun-drenched piazzas, and winding stone streets, Pienza embodies the essence of tranquility and timeless beauty.

From the town’s panoramic terraces, you’ll enjoy the most breathtaking views of the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of cypress-lined lanes, olive groves, and golden fields. The serene atmosphere, open vistas, and unhurried rhythm of life create a deep sense of peace and grounding — a perfect setting to pause, breathe, and integrate the transformations of the retreat.

On the final day, our drivers will be ready at the villa to take you back to Rome — either to the city center or directly to the airport, according to your preference. If you have other plans after the retreat, you’re welcome to make your own arrangements and continue your journey independently.

  • ancient pilgrimage routes

  • monastic retreats

  • and a natural energetic stillness that has drawn seekers, artists, and contemplatives for centuries

Many visitors describe feeling:

This is one of the reasons we chose this location with so much intention.

Please note that the program shown in our highlights is a sample. Our team may adjust activities or timing if we find an option that will enhance the overall experience. Any changes will always be designed to make your experience richer and more enjoyable, and you will be promptly notified of every change.

  • Solo travelers are warmly welcome at our events. However, due to the villa’s configuration, it is not always possible to allocate a private room for every individual guest.

Out of the villa’s three double rooms, one room is reserved for a solo traveler who wishes to have a private space. This room includes a queen bed and a private bathroom.

    • To secure this private room exclusively, there is a supplement of $800, to be paid together with the sign up fee.

    • Paying the supplement guarantees that you will have the room entirely to yourself.

    • As availability is limited to one room only, please contact us before booking if you wish to purchase this option.

  • We make every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, though it may not always be possible. To ensure the best chance of meeting your needs, it is essential that you inform us of any requirements at the time of registration.

Our chefs, excursions, and partner restaurants are coordinated well in advance, and menus are usually finalized several months before the event. Once this process is complete, adjustments can no longer be guaranteed.

It is the participant’s responsibility to communicate any dietary requirements, restrictions, or allergies during sign-up.

  • We welcome travelers of all ages to our events, and there are no strict age restrictions.

However, for participants under the age of 18, the presence of a parent or legal guardian is required. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the event.

  • You can reach out to our team at Team@wfpb.org.

If needed, you can email us requesting a video call. You will chat with one of our hosts to answer any question you may have.

We came on your WFPB trip for the food. We only travel when we know we can eat healthy, plant-based food. Your meals surpassed our highest expectations — they were all gourmet meals! You and Chef Gaia attended to every detail — preparing all of your own recipes, appealing to all of our senses, and providing such aesthetically pleasing presentations.
We were so moved by the fact that you also served the food with such loving care and authentic interest in us as individuals. For one week we were part of your family, and you were part of ours. You both tended to our bodies, minds, and souls, creating the conditions for a truly transformational experience for us. We are so grateful for that.
We loved the excursions to all of the Tuscan towns. Each had its own character, charm, and history. The whole was certainly greater than the sum of its parts.
This is one of the most enjoyable trips we have taken in our 47 years together. Your warm and friendly energy, as well as your passion for healthy food and creating transformational experiences, showed in everything you planned. Transformation within the context of loving and healing relationships is the foundation of everything you do. We are the recipients of your purpose and passion.
So, we came for the food, and received so much more!

Laura and I had been dreaming of going to Italy forever but didn’t know how to plan it. Then last year we received an email saying that my favorite magazine was organizing a low-fat, whole-food, vegan retreat in Tuscany. It felt meant to be. We are so glad this opportunity came up — it couldn’t have been a better experience.
Margarita, Michele, and their team were unbelievably great hosts. Being able to spend a week eating freely, without any language barriers, was so relaxing. The food was phenomenal. Add to that a beautiful villa in Tuscany, daily fun activities, and incredible excursions — it truly became the trip of a lifetime.
Sharing it all with a group of like-minded travelers was the perfect complement to this unforgettable experience. We’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants the Italian journey of a lifetime, topped with incredibly delicious and healthy food. Put this trip on your list — you won’t regret it.
Thanks again — our first time in Italy couldn’t have been more special.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime. Margarita and Michele created a magnificent week — they were so kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond in every way. They even celebrated our birthdays with a beautiful bracelet I’ll treasure forever. I’m deeply grateful that our paths crossed and hope to reconnect again in the future. Many blessings to them both.

You created an atmosphere of love, beauty, and friendship. You shared your knowledge and your love of this beautiful land. Your passion for health translated into dishes that inspired us all to cook a little more and to enjoy our food in good company. We appreciate you both and the staff.

What is WFPB ORG?

WFPB ORG is an international initiative founded by Margarita Restrepo, dedicated to advancing true health, vitality, and sovereignty through a Whole Food, Plant-Based lifestyle.

Our mission is to inspire a return to food in its purest, most natural form—whole, unprocessed, and grown in harmony with nature.

We believe that food is not only nourishment, but also medicine, culture, and connection. By restoring our relationship with what we eat, we restore balance in our bodies, our communities, and the planet.

WFPB ORG exists to:

  • Promote Culinary Medicine – empowering people to heal and thrive through food that is both delicious and deeply restorative.

  • Offer Transformational Experiences – immersive events and retreats that reconnect us with nature, food origins, and authentic living.

  • Raise Global Standards – through certification and education, guiding restaurants, producers, and services toward transparency, integrity, and wholistic practices.

  • Foster Education & Growth – providing resources, courses, and opportunities to learn the art and science of living plant-based in a way that is practical, elevated, and life-changing.

We envision a world where food is no longer a product of industry, but a gift of nature—where individuals reclaim health, joy, and resilience by returning to the simplicity of whole, plant-based living.
